The Glass House

The Glass House is a transparent space to talk about adoption, foster care and parenting kids with disabilities with a special place for Pastor/Missionary wives.

Why a Glass House?

Over 30 years ago I married my husband after meeting him on the mission field.  I knew as a young lady that I was called to serve God in this way so when I met my husband in a small town in Mexico it was honestly a match made in heaven.

After our wedding we began the long drive down to the border when my husband asked if I was ready to be a Pastors wife.  I was completely in shock because I did not sign up for that, I was going to be a Missionary.  My husband let me know that part of our job description would be pioneering and pastoring churches! They say Pastors live in glass houses because they are in the public eye.  I have always been transparent, but I am also an introvert! Over the years I have wanted to wallpaper sometimes but I have mostly learned to embrace it.  So come along and sip a cup of tea with me as we learn and grow together in glass houses.

I'd love to hear from you!
